Musical Missionary was created as a way to channel the good vibes from music and art into an altruistic mission. That mission is to provide underprivileged youth with music and arts education. Consider it the ultimate feedback loop... Musical Missionary taps the work of accomplished artists and musicians to provide art and music education for children who would otherwise never get the chance.

Musical Missionary's first effort towards its mission was to donate $1,000 to SoBe Institute of the Arts in September, 2009. The money was raised through a party called Dance For A Cause, headlined by DJs Chris Fortier, Stryke and Sebastian Cariaga. The money was used to sponsor a scholarship for a little girl named Aurora, so she could take flute lessons during SoBe Arts' Fall 2009 season.

But reality soon came to bear that one-off events and fund raisers alone were not going to help Musical Missionary further its cause. So Musical Missionary, the label, was born.  Before we could get our first release out, a dozen artists and music producers donated music and artwork for release by Musical Missionary to raise money for the cause.
